Our next branch feature highlights PBFS Waco/Bryan. Originally established in 1966 as family-owned A-1 Fire & Safety Equipment Co., this branch served Central Texas and the surrounding areas for over 50 years before joining the Pye-Barker family in July 2018. Today they are proud to add to their years of industry knowledge and experience by utilizing the resources provided to them by being a part of Pye-Barker.

This branch was Pye-Barker’s first acquisition in the great state of Texas and offers a variety of fire protection services such as Fire Sprinkler, Fire Alarm, Kitchen Systems, Industrial Systems and Fire Extinguishers sales, service, and installation. PBFS Waco/Bryan boasts a staff of 27, many of whom have been loyal employees for over 20 years. Lead by Branch Manager Laura Taylor, PBFS Waco/Bryan has continued to grow their long-standing customer base and attributes this to their professionalism and dedicated staff.

PBFS Waco/Bryan prides themselves on their rapid response time and offers emergency and scheduled service, maintaining a technician from each department on-call at all times. They are also able to accommodate walk-in customers with immediate onsite fire protection needs. This branch constantly strives to make sure all employees receive the most up-to-date training available and, in addition to their monthly safety meetings, constantly encourages staff to utilize all resources obtainable and attend any upcoming classes to keep their industry knowledge current.

PBFS Waco/Bryan’s dedication to expanding their expertise and their exemplary customer service has helped them maintain their outstanding reputation in Central Texas for decades and will continue to build their reputation for years to come.  The offices have been a huge asset to the PBFS family since their addition, and we can only look forward to what the future holds.  Keep up the great work, PBFS Waco/Bryan!
