KLTV Channel 7 ABC of East Texas interviewed Marisa Harris-Boykin about her partnership with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF).

As an invitee of Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, Harris-Boykin is representing NFFF at the 2026 Daytona 500 NASCAR race in Daytona, Florida.

As reported by KLTV, Pye-Barker Fire & Safety with LEGACY Motor Club and 7-time NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson to honor NFFF on a helmet that will be worn by Johnson on the track and later auctioned off to benefit the charity.

Harris-Boykin’s father, Clifford Harris, was a firefighter who passed battling a housefire in 1994. For over 20 years, Harris-Boykin has volunteered with the NFFF, even creating a support group for fallen fire hero families. Honoring the legacy of those in the fire and life safety industry is a proud part of Pye-Barker’s purpose. Pye-Barker is committed to protecting families and communities from fire incidents and takes pride in recognizing those who risk their lives responding to fire emergencies. A tenet of the business is to support other protectors, and providing an opportunity to raise awareness is just one of the ways Pye-Barker helps communities across the country stay safe.
