AAC United Fire & Safety Equipment, Inc. was founded in 1991 by partners George Anselona and Jimmy Celestino. Together they purchased a small, one man, one truck fire extinguisher company, which grew into a thriving business over years of hard, dedicated work. Today AAC United has seven service vehicles, ten loyal and very hard working employees, and thousands of satisfied customers. While they expanded the business, George, Jimmy, and staff stuck with what they knew best: selling and servicing fire extinguishers along with working on emergency lights. The philosophy of “No job too small” and “Every job is a good job”, with customer service that was second to none in their service territory, led them to become one of South Florida’s largest fire extinguisher sales and service companies.

George retired in 2006 and it was with great pleasure that Jimmy led the company through 2017. The acquisition fulfills Jimmy’s plan to sell the company to fund his retirement, and he is happy to be leaving “the loyal staff in the good hands of Pye-Barker Fire & Safety”. It is a honor to have the AAC United team join the PBFS family. This acquisition established a new Pye-Barker branch in Pompano Beach, FL, enabling Pye-Barker to better serve Florida’s fire and life safety needs.
