Pye-Barker Fire is proud to announce the acquisition of T & S Fire and Security, Inc. in Greensboro, North Carolina.  With this addition, Pye-Barker adds a second location in Greensboro that will work closely with the existing branch and continue to boost our presence in the central part of the state.

T & S Fire was founded in 1975 by Jim Testerman.  After his retirement in 2008, he distributed ownership to two special long-time employees, his son Micah and daughter Debra.  The two continued to stay the course set out by their father until Debra’s retirement several years ago.

When the time came for Micah to also retire and enjoy the fruits of his family’s life work, he started to research his options.  The recent passing of his father was a catalyst in the decision process.  Micah shared the following about his choice to go with Pye-Barker:

“I felt that of the multiple options available for my exit strategy, leaving the company in the hands of my capable team paired with the resources afforded by Pye-Barker Fire & Safety was the best way to ensure that my second family, my work family, was looked after and my father’s legacy was honored in the way that would make him proud.”
