He has since turned it into the well-respected, reputable industry leader in southwest Florida that it is today.  The acquisition of Tanner Fire further solidifies Pye-Barker’s position in the Bradenton-Sarasota market. Pye-Barker also acquires Tanner Fire’s loyal customer base and team of talented personnel. The PBFS fire safety specialists in southwest Florida are now even better equipped to handle the fire extinguisher and kitchen fire suppression system needs of the area. Pye-Barker was able to fulfill John’s desire to retire, so that he and his wife Rose can enjoy traveling and spending time with family, while his team continues his work within the Pye-Barker community. It is an honor to carry on your legacy, John!
