December was a fantastic month for acquisitions, starting with welcoming Commercial Fire Equipment Company to the team. Bruce Varnadoe started Commercial in 1988 after eight years of experience in the industry. After more than 35 years in the business, Bruce decided it was time to take a break from fire protection. Fortunately for Pye-Barker, he didn’t stay away very long. Bruce has returned on a part time basis to join his son, and new boss Kevin, as a member of our fire specialist team in Brandon, FL.

Commercial had a terrific reputation as a quality provider of fire safety products and services, and we welcome their highly skilled crew to the Pye-Barker family.
