Pye-Barker is happy to share our latest acquisition news: we have added Fire Protection Services Corp. to the PBFS family!
Fire Protection Services Corp. (FPS) is located in Blufton, South Carolina. Owners Will and Laurie Pelletier moved from Pennsylvania to Beaufort County in 1988, where Will continued working as a firefighter with the Town of Hilton Head Island Fire Department. In the early 2000s he and Laurie decided to start a fire protection business before his retirement. They founded FPS together and steadily built a business that became known in the Low Country South Carolina area as a quality fire protection company that excelled in customer service.
Will and Laurie were able to employ three full time technicians and one part time technician within a few years. Their success and loyal customer base made them a desirable company to acquire and add to the Pye-Barker team. Their current staff will be incorporated into PBFS Savannah and enable us to expand our fire alarm division, as well as the other services offered at that branch.
Though they are easing into retirement, Will plans to continue serving as a private for hire pilot. They are excited about this new chapter in their lives and about their ability to visit their family, spread from PA to TX, more readily.
We wish all the best to Will and Laurie and thank them for assisting us through this transition. We are honored to be trusted with their customers and will continue serving them with the same professionalism and attention that FPS provided.
