Our expansion into Texas is just beginning, with two new branches being established in Waco and Bryan, and more coming in the near future. This is a very exciting step for our company, and a huge milestone as we strive to enter new markets and regions.

A-1 Fire and Safety Equipment Co. has served central Texas since 1966, and has been a family business for just as long. The current owners, Andy and Elaine Restivo, purchased the company from Andy’s parents when they were ready to retire, and now that Andy and his wife are ready to do the same, they have entrusted Pye-Barker to carry on their legacy. A-1 Fire is a full-service fire protection company, their services include the sale, installation, and service of fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, including kitchen and clean agent systems, fire sprinkler, and fire alarm systems. Pye-Barker will continue to offer these services to the surrounding areas, while also expanding upon them to even better protect the Texas community.
A Perfectly Timed Transition
“We feel so blessed, at this time in our lives when we have decided to retire, that the Pye-Barker family desired to purchase our company,” shared owners Andy and Elaine. They explained that the transition of a family-owned business to new owners is a difficult process, one that requires care, attention, and patience, which is exactly what they received from Pye-Barker during the change:
