This Branch Feature story highlights the newly established PBFS Deerfield Beach office, which was formed after three of our smaller Florida offices were combined to better serve the surrounding community.

The original office was established in 2015, when Pye-Barker acquired East Coast Fire in West Palm Beach, FL.  At the time the staff consisted of four people, and only offered service for portable fire extinguishers and kitchen suppression systems.  With the acquisition of AAC United in July 2017, the Pompano Beach location was added, followed closely by the acquisition of Reliable Fire in Ft. Lauderdale.  The latter acquisition enabled Pye-Barker to add fire alarm to the list of fire protection services they were currently offering in southern Florida.

As the West Palm Beach location continued to grow and the Pompano Beach and Ft. Lauderdale locations adjusted to being part of the Pye-Barker family, it became clear that the three locations would be able to offer a greater range of services with higher efficiency and professionalism by combining forces under one roof.  That decision led to the establishment of PBFS Deerfield Beach in August 2018.  The new branch has a staff of over 25 people and has been able become more structured and effective in the southern Florida marketplace.  The branch continues to work on driving growth in the Miami/Dade, Ft. Lauderdale, and Palm Beach counties.

Branch Manager Louis Frazzano shared his confidence that the new team will flourish: “With our office manager Deno Brown leading our administrative staff, Lauren Erickson leading the Portable team, and Vince Puma taking over the alarm world of South Florida, I am very confident that the Deerfield Branch will deliver positive results and become a leader in the marketplace.”
